About the Chef
Chef Jorge Dominguez came from humble beginnings. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. Being raised by both hard-working immigrant parents, Jorge spent most of his childhood studying hard and helping around the house trying to feed his younger sibling. Since he was always cooking, he began to learn the basics of food and how to make meals. He started his first job at the age of 16 as a dishwasher in order to help his family. He was always working hard and going above and beyond to help wherever needed. Jorge already had a rough idea of how to cook since he was always cooking for his family, but soon realized that he had a talent for it. The restaurant industry is a very competitive and busy line of work. Line cooks were always backed up with orders and Jorge would help them out daily. In doing so, he quickly learned the entire menu and eventually was promoted to a line cook himself and that's when his career started.
